Hypernova

A hypernova!? The latest newcomer in the stellar tiergarten:
A nova is an exploded star. A gigantic outbreak of sheer power. A supernova also is an exploded star, but with the light and power of a galaxy. What a supernova is compared to a nova, the hypernova is compared to a supernova.
